PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device constituted that a cover to cover the radiating body of a heating device installed under a window is utilized for a multipurpose, such as a footstool, etc. SOLUTION: A heating device provided with a radiating body 2 and a cover 1 to cover the radiating body 2 is installed under a window 3. In the cover 1, a back plate 13 and a front plate 12 are suspended from a horizontal upper plate 11. The cover 1 is situated across the radiating body 2 with the back plate 13 in proximity of an outer wall 4, and the upper plate 11 is positioned flush with the upper surface of a lower frame 41 of a window archivolt.
