POLYESTER FILM, BACK SHEET FOR SOLAR CELL MODULE, AND SOLAR CELL MODULE

A polyester film comprising (A) polyester and (B) a compound which has such a cyclic structure that one carbodiimide group is contained and the first nitrogen atom and the second nitrogen atom in the carbodiimide group are bound to each other through a bonding group, wherein the intrinsic viscosity of the polyester (A) is 0.5 to 0.9 dl/g and the compound (B) which has one carbodiimide group and has such a cyclic structure that the first nitrogen atom and the second nitrogen atom are bound to each other through a bonding group is contained in an amount of 0.05 to 0.9 mass% relative to the amount of the polyester (A). The polyester film has excellent hydrolysis resistance and good film thickness uniformity, and can exhibit good adhesion to a functional layer after being subjected to a wet heat treatment when used as a back sheet for a solar cell module.
