PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the desulfurization ventilator control method and device of a boiler plant for smoothly shifting from flow rate control to differential pressure control, suppressing the fluctuation of differential pressure, and improving the controllability of differential pressure control when shifting from the flow rate control. SOLUTION: When a desulfurization bypass damper opening 27 is narrowed from full opening to full closing, the ratio of a desulfrization ventilator gas flow rate control damper opening command 15 based on a desulfurization gas flow rate 11 is gradually decreased and at the same time the ratio of a desulfurization ventilator gas flow rate control damper opening command 20 based on a differential pressure 13 between the upstream and downstream sides of a desulfurization bypass damper 9 is gradually increased corresponding to the desulfurization bypass damper opening 27, thus shifting from flow rate control to differential pressure control.
