<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unexpected force from being applied to a driving system of a vehicle due to inappropriate driving operation such as depressing an accelerator pedal following the rise of an engine at the timing of restarting the engine from the state of the vehicle being stopped and idle stop being operated. SOLUTION: A shift lever is mechanically fixed in a neutral position over a period from the execution of restarting procedure to the rise of the engine into an idling state, and the fixed state of the shift lever is not released over this period unless a driver continues to depress a brake pedal with adequate force.</p> |
