PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure for supporting a cylindrical container, in which stirring and fermentation treatment or stirring and drying treatment is carried out, offering simple construction for reducing a cost. SOLUTION: Steel end supporting plates 3, 5 and intermediate supporting plates 6, 7 having disc supporting holes passing therethrough in the direction of the thickness of the plates are standingly provided at required spaces. Both end portions of the cylindrical container 2 in which stirring and fermentation treatment or stirring and drying treatment are carried out are fitted through the supporting holes of the right and left end supporting plates 3, 5 in almost close contact and an intermediate portion of the cylindrical container 2 is fitted through the disc supporting holes of the intermediate supporting plates 6, 7 in almost close contact so that the cylindrical container 2 is supported upward by the right and left end supporting plates 3, 5 and the intermediate supporting plates 6, 7.
