ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which makes multicolor overlapping possible and which can form a full color image good color reproducibility and sharp tone because the toner has good spectral reflection characteristic and is excellent in hot offset resistance and transparency for an OHP sheet. SOLUTION: In the electrostatic charge developing toner comprising at least a binder resin, coloring agent and wax, the toner contains Pigment Red 238, 147 and compounds having a similar structure to the pigments as the coloring agent. The mol.wt. distribution of the tetrahydrofuran soluble component of the binder resin measured with a gel permeation chromatograph shows the main peak (Mp) in a range from 5,000 to 90,000 and weight average mol.wt. (Mw) in the range from 10,000 to 10,000,000.
