INNER GROOVED ALUMINUM TUBE AND HEAT EXCHANGER COMPRISING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aluminum tube useful as the heat transfer tube of a heat exchanger and exhibiting heat transfer characteristics equivalent to or better than those of a copper tube, and an all aluminum heat exchanger which can be dismantled and recycled easily. SOLUTION: A plurality of protrusion type enlarging fins 24 extending in the longitudinal direction of a tube are formed on the inner surface of a tube body 21 at a substantially constant interval in the inner circumferential direction thereof. One or a plurality of protrusion type radiation fins 22 lower than the enlarging fins 24 and extending in the longitudinal direction of the tube are formed between respective enlarging fins 24. A plurality of fin grooves 23 are formed in the inner surface of the tube body 21 by these enlarging fins 24 and radiation fins 22 thus producing an inner grooved aluminum tube which is employed as the heat transfer tube of a heat exchanger.
