PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium having separated recording units in which recording sensitivity is improved and fast recording and reproduction are possible, and to provide a recording device which uses the medium. SOLUTION: In the recording medium having recording units 14 and a separation layer 13 to separate each recording unit 14 from others, the separation layer 13 absorbs light to convert it into heat, absorbs light to change the volume or absorbs light to transfer the energy to the recording units. |
