PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold releasing film which has extremely little crystallization of oligomers and good transparency when it is used to protect an adhesive layer of a liquid crystal polarizing plate and which makes the inspection accompanied by optical evaluation easy. SOLUTION: The mold releasing film to protect an adhesive layer of a liquid crystal polarizing plate is obtained by successively applying a coating layer and a release layer having >=80% residual adhesion rate on one surface of a polyester film and satisfies all of the following inequalities (1) to (3). The inequalities are (1) OL<=0.6, (2) TL>=80, and (3) TL(H)<=8, wherein OL (mg/m2) is the amount of oligomers extracted with dimethyformamide from the surface of the release layer of the mold releasing film after the heat treatment at 180 deg.C for 10 minutes, TL(%) is the transmittance for the all rays of the release film and TL (H)(%) is the transmittance for the all rays when the mold releasing film is interposed between polarizing plates with perpendicular polarization directions. |
