<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band control method for securing a minimum band at each subscriber terminal and restricting an upper limit band. SOLUTION: ATM communications equipment is provided with a band managing part 1100 discriminating the access bands of subscriber terminal equipment 3-1 to 3-n, in accordance with a basic band and the upper limit band, which a supervisory control part 2 sets, based on received band information and the cell overflow state of a valid ATM cell transmitted by plural subscriber terminal equipment 3-1 to 3-n, which a traffic supervisory part 100 of the up ATM cell transmitted from the subscriber terminal equipment 3-1 to 3-n detects and an access right generation part 120 which generates access right in accordance with the access band. The band managing part 1100 is provided with a basic band allocation part 1160 for allocating the basic band which is set from the supervisory control part 2 and a common band allocation part 1101 for allocating a common band based on the upper limit band which is set from the supervisory control part 2, and the received band and the cell overflow state, which the traffic supervisory part 100 makes transmission.</p> |
