PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently shorten printing time, even when a fault occurs in one of plural printers in distribution destinations. SOLUTION: From the start of the output of print data to plural printers in respective distribution destinations to the completion of printing in each of printers, when a fault occurs in one of these printers in the distribution destination (step S350), one printer in idle state is automatically found out of all the printers except for these printers in the distribution destinations (printers connected with a body 16 of computer locally or by a network) (step S352) and while using that found printer as a printer for substitution, distributed printing is performed.
