<p>Abstract 10 A connector 50 for connecting a duct to a fitting of the kind used in ducted air-conditioning and ventilation systems is described. The connector 50 comprises a spigot 16 for attaching the connector 50 to a duct. A collar 18 is provided on a front edge of the connector 50 for connecting the connector 50 to a fitting. The connector 50 is formed from at least two modular 15 components 50a and 50b which when joined together form a continuous spigot and collar of the required shape and size. Advantageously each of the components of the connector 50 is joined together by an interlocking arrangement comprising a wedge piece 60 that is slidably received in a matching recess 62.
