<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood material grade determining device capable of measuring its Young's modulus using a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the wood material grade determining device 10, a wood material W is mounted orthogonally to the post conveying device 22 advancing direction to be conveyed. A hammering device 72 in a Young's modulus measurement device 70 is arranged in the lateral position, in which the hammering device 72 causes no interference with the wood material W conveyed by means of the post conveying device 22 and can hit the butting end of the wood material W from the lateral side, of the post conveying device 22. Therefore, no elevation of the hammering device 72 for avoiding interference with the wood material W is needed at each measurement, and consequently, the device can be constituted simply.</p> |
