<p>An electroluminescence display which can be used as a glass cover such as of a wristwatch because the electroluminescence display is transparent, can be a multicolor electroluminescence display, can serve as both an illuminator and a display, and can be produced by a simple method. An organic EL element (108Y) so patterned as to display characters, having a transparency, and capable of emitting yellow light is provided on a first surface (102) of a transparent substrate (101). An organic EL element (108B) so patterned as to emit light over the whole surface of the transparent substrate, having a transparency, and capable of emitting blue light is provided on a second surface (103) of the substrate (101).</p> |
