The switch has a front strip, formed as a protective strip (1) on which a person can lean with his back, without triggering switching pulses. Switch strips (2,3) are arranged behind the protective strip, far back enough that switching pulses are only triggered by pressing the pushed-back elbows sideways. A switch board (4) may be arranged on the upper side for controlling normal and complete flushing.
