PURPOSE: A method for managing audio data recording of a rewritable recording medium is provided to selectively manage or erase the second real time text information pack of an audio recording unit and identify whether the information pack is maintained or erased. CONSTITUTION: It is determined whether text information corresponding to audio data recorded on rewritable recording medium is recorded. A record unit having a predetermined size is generated and recorded in order to record the text information according to the determination result. Identification information for identify whether the record unit is generated is generated and recorded on audio data manger information. It is determined whether a record signal processing is performed with respect to the text information corresponding to the audio data. If the text information is recorded, a real time text information pack for recording the text information is generated and recorded as the second pack of the audio recording unit. If the text information is not recorded, the real time text information pack for recording the text information is not generated and recorded.
