METHOD FOR FORMING ENDLESS CAP PLY OF TIRE

PURPOSE: A method for producing an endless cap ply of a tire is provided to improve uniformity and endurance by symmetrically forming structure of a cap ply on a tire green case, and to reduce winding time of the cap strip. CONSTITUTION: An endless cap ply(2') is formed on an outer face of a belt(1') in a tire. A cap ply strip is attached toward both ends direction from a middle portion of the outer face of the belt. A butt joint is maintained on a middle portion of a full cap ply. The cap ply strip is overlapped as much as half of width on both ends of edge cap ply by rotating the cap ply strip forward. The endless cap ply of the tire is wound from the middle portion of the outer face in the belt toward an end side. Then, the endless cap ply of the tire is wounded from the middle portion of the outer face in the belt toward the other end side. Two-cap strip applicator is installed to wind the cap ply from the middle portion of the belt toward both end sides at the same time for reducing the winding time of the cap strip.
