PURPOSE: A protective band provided along an inner rim of a cap is provided to prevent the inner part of the cap from being polluted due to cosmetics, sweat and so on. CONSTITUTION: The protective band(3) is provided along an inner rim(2) of a cap(3) for preventing the inner part of the cap from being polluted due to cosmetics, sweat and so on. Therefore, the deformation of the cap caused by washing the cap is prevented. Also, the protective band is detachably attached to the inner rim of the cap by using a detachable fastening device comprised of a magic tape(4) to be attached to the inner rim and another magic tape(5) to be attached to the protective band. Alternatively, the detachable fastening device is a snap fastener comprised of a button attached on the inner rim and another button attached on the protective band.
