<p>A steam outlet assembly (10) comprises a metal tubular portion (12) within which steam passes when the assembly is in use. A plastics steam nozzle (16) extends through apertures (18 and 20) in the tubular portion (12) which are spaced apart circumferentially therearound. The plastics nozzle (16) is provided with a transverse through-bore (44) in the tubular portion interior opening out at a head end and/or a screw-threaded end of the nozzle (16), outside the tubular portion (12).
