PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable polishing treatment work without interrupting work even when unhulled rice and unpolished rice are not discriminated because the grain detection state of the discrimination sensor is bad in rice hulling and polishing equipment wherein it is automatically judged whether charged grain is unhulled rice or unpolished rice by the discrimination sensor and, when grain is judged as unhulled rice, rice hulling and polishing work is performed by a hulling apparatus and a rice polishing machine and, when grain is judged as unpolished rice, rice polishing work is performed by the rice polishing apparatus. SOLUTION: When the grain detection state of the discrimination sensor is bad and unhulled rice and unpolished rice are not discriminated, charged grain is judged as unhulled rice to perform rice hulling and polishing work.
