PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a breakage crack of a lining material in a ceiling part from being generated in a portion arranged with a self-contained material such as an assist grip when an air bag is inflatedly developed, in an air bag device arranged with the air bag astride a front pillar and a roof side rail of a body between the lining materials in insides thereof to protect a head part of an occupant by inflating the air bag curtain-likely. SOLUTION: A deformation rate of the lining material 4 is restrained in the arranged portion arranged with the assist grip 10 to prevent the breakage of the material 4, by arranging the assist grip 10 attached to the roof side rail 3 from an upper side of the lining material 4 in an upper part of a gas introducing passages 7, 7a for introducing gas into an inflation chamber 8 of the air bag 5. |
