PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment-sensitized solar battery that has satisfactory transfer property of electron wit small internal resistance and an effective utilization of light, and exhibits a practical current/voltage curve. SOLUTION: The pigment-sensitized solar battery comprises one side of an oxide semiconductor pigment electrode, jointed with a pigment and the other side of an electrode making a pair with this disposed opposed to each other via an electrolyte contained body. One of the oxide semiconductor pigment electrode, jointed with the pigment comprises a net structure electrode equipped with a core portion of a metal net conductor. The net structure electrode comprises the metal net conductor and a porous oxide semiconductor layer coated and is formed on the surface of the net conductor. The porous oxide semiconductor layer is equipped with open holes in the layer which communicate with the outside, and on the inside surface of the oxide semiconductor layer where the open holes are located, an organic pigment film jointed with the oxide semiconductor composing the porous oxide semiconductor layer is made to exist. |
