PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stick a cylindrical conductive base substance made of plastic to a plastic flange without using a chemical reaction type adhesive or a solvent volatile type adhesive which adversely influences the characteristics of an electrophotographic sensitive body. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic sensitive body is constituted by forming a photoreceptive layer on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical conductive base substance made of plastic and having an open end at least at one side. The electrophotographic sensitive body to which the base substance and the plastic flange are firmly stuck is provided by ultrasonically welding the plastic flange to at least one open end of the base substance.
