Measurement process of oil aging consists on determining parameter measuring the oil anti-oxidation protection then use it and temperature to calculate oil oxidation level, compare it to threshold and warn driver if necessary

Process consists on a first step (E1) of determining a first parameter (ADD) measuring the anti-oxidation protection of the oil and a second parameter (OXY) measuring the oxidation level of the oil. The second step (E2) consists on determining the second parameter relatively to the first one and the engine temperature. The result must be inferior to a pre-determined threshold or the driver is informed (E3) that he has to change the oil.
