PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the discharge time of paper money becomes longer as the number of discharged paper money becomes layer and that the waiting time of a customer becomes long when a paper processor is loaded on a vending machine and a ticket vending machine since paper money is stacked and kept in a paper money temporary holding part 6 one an another and held paper money is collectively discharged after the prescribed number of paper money is hold in the paper money temporary holding part 6 at the time of discharging paper money as change money or exchange money in a conventional paper money processor. SOLUTION: The prescribed number of paper money is temporarily held in the paper money temporary holding part 6 in the stand-by state of the paper money processor. Thus, the discharge operation time of paper money is shortened. Then, the number of held paper money which is previously held in the paper money temporary holding part 6 is freely set. The discharge operation time of paper money can efficiently be shortened by the using state of the paper money processor.
