PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pirate boarding detection device allowed to be extremely simply adjusted, easily handled and used for various ships. SOLUTION: In the pirate boarding detection device provided with a detector 20 connected to the other end of a wire 25 slidably supported and spread on the tips of plural struts 51 to 56 formed on the gunwale of a ship body 7 so as to be extruded to the sea side and locking its tip 25a on the ship body 7 and capable of detecting a change of tension, the detector 20 is provided with a wire drum 24 for winding wire 25 rotatably supported on bodies 21, 22 installed on the ship body, a spring 33 connected between the body and the drum 24 and capable of applying tension to the wire 25, optical fiber cables 30, 31 arranged in the direction of the wire drum 24 so that one end is supported by the body, a photoelectric switch 32 connected to the other end of the cables 30, 31, and a plate member 26 attached to the drum 24 and deviated from the optical paths of the cables 30, 31 when the wire 25 is pulled and rotated to drive the switch 32. |
