<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and device for diagnosing failure capable of quickly detecting the state of abnormality in a programmable controller. SOLUTION: This failure diagnosing device is provided with a programmable controller 1, a detecting means 11 for detecting the processing operation of a program which is being executed during the execution of a program and an operation signal for executing the processing operation, a storage means 9 for storing an abnormal condition table in which the state of a signal when abnormality is generated is described for each processing operation, an abnormality condition extracting means 12 for extracting the state of the signal corresponding to the processing operation detected from the abnormality condition table, a judging means 13 for comparing the state of the operation signal with the state of the signal extracted from the abnormality condition table, and for judging the generation of abnormality when they are made coincident to each other, and a processing executing means 14 for executing processing corresponding to the signal state extracted from the abnormality condition table when the generation of abnormality is judged.</p> |
