COMMUNICATION SYSTEM OF MULTICAST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To communicate an application responding to Ipv4 on PC/WS to a host connected to Ipv6 network. SOLUTION: In this system a LAN controller 1001 comprises a user space 1002 in which an application (AP) is operating, and a kernel space 1016 in which the kernel operating. An interface between a multicast AP 1006 responding to TCO/Ipv4 and a protocol controller 1003 is processed by an output-input of data packet created at the multicast AP 1006. An interface between the protocol controller 1003 and a protocol conversion controller 1004 is processed by the output-input of Ipv4 packet. An IP header conversion controller 1010 converts Ipv4 header to Ipv6 header according to an address conversion table 1014. AN IGMP-MLD conversion controller 1011 converts IGMP packet to MLD packet according to an Ipv6 multicast membership table.
