PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide data transmission equipment capable of providing program information corresponding to the desire of each receiver with comparatively simple constitution. SOLUTION: The equipment has a record reproduction means for recording and reproducing data on a prescribed recording medium and is provided with a data sending part which sorts the requests of plural receivers to the respective time slots of plural time slots in the case of reading recorded data on the recording medium in accordance with requests from receivers, and reads the recorded data from the different recording areas of the recording medium by each time slot to generate plural pieces of data in accordance with the requests from the plural receivers.
