<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a help information display device and its method capable of easily and briefly displaying a help message for all users having different levels. SOLUTION: When a tag in relation to color is selected among print setting dialog display (S1 to S2), an item and its contents selected by the user are judged (S3 to S5) and the level of the user is set according to each item and the contents (S6, S7, S8). And when a help reference request is made (S9), the level of the user is judged (S10) and the message according to the level is displayed (S11, S12, S13). In this case, difficulty of the contents, a degree of specification of each help message are determined according to the level.</p> |
