<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide CDMA system interleaver memory accessing device and method, by which power reduction and data access acceleration is achieved by improving addressing and access operations to an interleaver memory. SOLUTION: This CDMA system interleaver memory accessing device is provided with an interleaver memory for storing a code symbol to be transmitted, a shift register part which simultaneously receives 18-bit code symbols from the interleaver memory and outputs six code symbols one at a time, an index decoding part for decoding the six code symbols outputted from the shift register part to generate a Walsh index, and an address generator and control logic, which control access operation to the interleaver memory and input-output operations to/from the shift register part and the index recording parts.</p> |
