<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably move a carrier on a road surface along an index without imposing any restrictive load on a carrier, and to facilitate changing of the direction of the carrier at a branch point, starting or stopping of the carrier for preventing any danger, and entry of the start of traveling or the like as necessary. SOLUTION: An IC card whose complicate programming is not necessary for notifying a traveling direction at each stop position or branch point is arranged at a carrier side so that a basic carriage passage can be set. In this case, this IC card 64 is only switched or rewritten so that the traveling direction can be converted. A sensor 76 for preventing collision is mounted so that it is possible to preliminarily prevent danger such as collision. Moreover, the start period of the carrier can be directly instructed by an infrared ray from a carrier controller 52 so that the carriage of the carrier 10 can be started anytime.</p> |
