PURPOSE:To obtain a natural picture while the relative phase of a subcarrier is kept constant by providing a higher harmonic elimination filter eliminating higher harmonics included in a continuous subcarrier signal. CONSTITUTION:The continuous subcarrier signal from a VCO 21 is fed to a higher harmonic elimination filter 30 of a hue circuit 22 of the subcarrier processing circuit as a reference carrier input and the reference carrier signal is fed to a phase shift circuit 221 while the higher harmonics are eliminated. A reference carrier not phase-shifted is extracted from the emitter of a transistor (TR) Q9, a signal phase-shifted by a capacitor C1 is extracted from the emitter of a TR Q10, a +B1 voltage is extracted from the emitter of a TR Q13 and fed to a phase synthesis circuit 222 and a variable phase circuit 223. An output being vector synthesis of outputs of the circuits 222, 223 is obtained at a collector of a TR Q17, the result is fed to a subcarrier amplifier of the next stage, from which various CW signals are extracted.
