<p>A cooker comprises a cooking container, a gas heater for heating the bottom of the cooking container, a heat exchange jacket for exchanging heat with a wall by supplying steam inside a closed section, means for charging and discharging steam, weighing means for measuring the total weight on the cooking container and heat exchange jacket sides, memory means for storing reference values corresponding to the changes in weight with changes in water content of heated food, and means for controlling the gas heater and the charge and discharge means so that change in weight of the material may agree with the corresponding reference value by calculating the change in weight of the material in the cooking container based on the change in the total weight detected by the weighing means. The cooker cooks properly and provides quick and reliable cooking at high temperature.</p> |
