A medical information system comprising a patient terminal, a server, and a manager terminal, the three being interconnected over a network, the patient terminal including a sensor having a function of measuring information to serve as an index indicating the patient's condition, means for transferring the measurement data captured by the sensor to the inside of the patient's terminal, means for transferring the measurement data to the server through the network, and means for receiving control information from the server, and the patient terminal having a function of performing an action according to the control information, the server including means for transferring control information to the patient terminal and means for storing therein and organizing the measurement data transferred from the patient terminal, and the manager terminal including means for reading the organized measurement data stored in the server.
