The invention relates to a fish culturing plant that comprises a basin having a number of sections where adjacent sections are delimited from each other by means of partition walls. In the partition walls, sealable openings are arranged so that adjacent sections are connectable with each other. According to the invention the sections are arranged consecutively in a helix-like pattern in a number of turns. The partition walls comprise a helix-like running wall as well as a number of transverse walls. Each transverse wall runs between two adjacent turns of the helix-like running wall. The openings are situated in the transverse walls. The invention also relates to a method for culturing fish, this being effected in a plant according to the invention. |
