The high pressure valve has a threaded bush (4) in which the upper section (22) of the spindle is mounted and a valve housing (2) in which the lower section (6) is mounted. A flange (3) on the housing is connected to a head (8) and the bush by two tubular supports (1) with threaded ends which fit into threaded bores in the housing and head and are fastened at the top by nuts (12).
