<p>The invention concerns a wine press for use in particular, but not exclusively, for pressing grapes for producing champagne. It is horizontal and comprises an open-work base (2) and pressing means (4, 6) consisting of at least an axially mobile tray. The pressing means (4, 6) have a configuration adapted, during pressing, to shape the marc cake into a block so that at least a portion thereof is cantilevered by the simple removal of one at least of the pressing means (4, 6), so that said portion can collapse into the chamber (10) of the press (1) onto the open-work base (2).</p> |
