PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling output of an electromechanical brake system of an automobile at the maximum output capable of being used when output is beyond nominal output. SOLUTION: Brake units 3.1 to 3.4 of a brake system for generating braking force are controlled individually or continuously in a sub group by using output components P1, P2, P3 and P4 of the sufficient and available maximum output in relation to partial functionality of individual units 3.1 to 3.4.
