PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detachably attach a two-dimensional image pick-up device to a three-dimensional measuring instrument, and allow the photographing for both a two-dimensional data and a three-dimensional data, so as to enhance convenience. SOLUTION: This is a photographing system 1 having the two-dimensional image pick-up device 3, and the three-dimensional measuring instrument 4 attached detachably to the two-dimensional image pick-up device 3. The two-dimensional image pick-up device 3 and the three-dimensional measuring instrument 4 are communicatable each other, and, when information for indicating an operation condition for either of them is transmitted to the other side, the other side receiving it sets own operation condition based on the received information to excecute image pick-up or measurement.
