PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge device capable of assembling/disassembling a hinge shaft easily, having a simple structure without having to use other members. SOLUTION: The hinge device is provided with a hinge shaft 16, a hinge part (the hinge part 12 of a camera body) for supporting the hinge shaft 16, a part to be engaged (a hinge shaft groove part 21), which is mounted on the hinge shaft 16, a member (a rear cover 11) having the hinge shaft 16, and an engaging part (a projected part 22) engaged with the part to be engaged (the groove part 21), which is mounted on the member (the rear cover 11).
