PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of cooperatively and highly accurately driving plural photoreceptor drums which are individually driven by vibration wave motors and a polygon mirror which is driven by an electromagnetic motor. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a reference signal forming means for forming a 1st signal in a cycle in accordance with the rotating speed of the polygon mirror in the case of driving plural color photoreceptor drums by the corresponding vibration wave motors and driving the polygon mirror for exposing so as to form a latent image on the photoreceptor drum, a speed detecting means for detecting the driving speed of the vibration wave motor and forming a 2nd signal which is provided with a corresponding cycle to the driving speed, and a speed control means for controlling the driving speed of the vibration wave motor so that a phase difference may become a prescribed phase difference in accordance with the phase difference between the 1st signal and the 2nd signal. |
