PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a pressure sensitive adhesive tape that can be suitably used in an apparatus for automatically applying a pressure sensitive adhesive tape for the sealing operation, whereby the automatic changing from one feed roll to another stock roll for continuously feeding the pressure sensitive adhesive tape can be smoothly effected so as to efficiently carry out the sealing operation without interrupting the operation. SOLUTION: This pressure sensitive adhesive tape comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive layer formed on one side of a substrate and is wound in a roll form, wherein one end portion of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer has a region where the adhesive force is reduced.
