PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To open and close the bottom face of a container only by operation of a fork lift. SOLUTION: This container comprises a pair of bottom face plates attached near right and left bottom parts of front walls of a square main body frame by means of a hinge mechanism formed in parallel with each side wall so that they are freely opened and closed in a biparting manner, a pair of right and left link plates attached to right and left parts of the front wall with a certain horizontal distance from the wall by means of a pin at their intermediate portion so that each link plate can freely turn along the front wall, with their bottom end part so held that it can slidably contact with the bottom face plate located below it, a pair of fork claw insertion parts each of which is provided between upper end parts of the link plates holding the same bottom face plate and symmetricafly located with each other. By inserting fork claws into the pair of fork claw insertion parts and changing a distance between the fork claws, the bottom face plates are opened and closed. Consequently, work labor is reduced and safety is improved.
