PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold and support a bored portion at a corner of a glass plate or a joint part thereof by means of support metal fittings. SOLUTION: In support structure, wherein a plurality of upright glass plates are arranged in the upper/lower and right/left directions and corner butt portions of the plates are fastened and supported by means of support fittings from both sides thereof, the fittings provided at corner portions of the glass plates are supported and fixed by protruding members provided at a structural support erected on the indoor side of vertical joint part of juxtaposed surface glass members, rib glass plates provided in both directions along a horizontal joint of the surface glass members and having the same width as the surface glass members are connectedly supported so that their positions can be adjusted by a connection member journalized to a mounting member fixed to the structural support column, a support rod journalized to an end of the rib glass plates on the counter side of the structural support column and connecting the support fittings for the rib glass members made close to the end of the rib glass plates on the counter side of the structural support column, a balance rod connecting the ends of the rib glass plates at upper and lower positions, and the upper and lower support fittings arranged between the balance rod and the surface glass member are respectively connected and fixed with a uspending rod, and the balance rod and the suspending rod are supported and fixed by upper and lower frames.
