<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag for a steering wheel capable of expecting an increase in the action of turning to the vertical directional center line of the air bag, particularly, the bag entering action between an occupant belly part and a ring part. SOLUTION: In a bag body of an almost circular shape in a plane outer peripheral shape when completing unfolding and swelling, this air bag for the steering wheel has a bag body 26 having a front panel and a rear panel having a gas inflow port 20 and a flow straightening cloth body 28 arranged in the bag body 26. The flow straightening cloth body 28 forms a pair of left and right radial directional passages 30 and 32 extending up to the outer peripheral edge of the bag body 26 by branching off to the left and right both sides from the gas inflow port 20 and a pair of left and right peripheral directional passages 38 and 40 having respectively the upper and lower opening ends 34 and 36 in a gas out-flowable position toward the vertical directional center line C of the bag body 26 by vertically extending along the peripheral edge of the bag body 26 from the tip of the radial passages 30 and 32.</p> |
