SOLUTION: This positioning device comprises a base 5, a rotary body 3 rotatably supported on the base and provided with a first shaft 1 and a bore 3f eccentric from the first shaft 1, an eccentric body 4 rotatably accommodated in the bore 3f, a second shaft 2 rotatably mounted on the eccentric body 4 and eccentric from its central axis, control means 6, 5d, 3b for controlling a rotating position of the eccentric body 4 to the rotary body 3 in accordance with a rotating position of the rotary body 3 to the base 5, and an adjusting mechanism 11 for selectively adjusting the rotating position of the rotary body 3 to the base 5. The adjusting mechanism 11 is composed of locking grooves 5b, etc., 5b formed on the base 5, the lock ball 14 accommodated in the rotary body selectively engageably with the lock grooves, and a lock button 13 capable of locking up the position of the lock ball.
