PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glare proof antireflection film which can easily be produced at low cost only by forming a glare proof hard coat layer and a low refractive index layer on a base and which has satisfactory antireflection performance, scuffing resistance and stain-proofing properties, to provide a polarizing plate which sufficiently reduces the reflection of outside light and is excellent in stain-proofing properties and scuffing resistance and to provide a liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: The glare proof antireflection film is obtained by disposing a glare proof hard cost layer containing dispersed grains of >=1 μm average grain diameter and a low refractive index layer having a refractive index of 1.35-1.49 in this order on a transparent substrate. The glare shielding hard coat layer is alkali-treated. |
