摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement measuring instrument for a structure capable of coping with a wide range of measurement and a restriction on space for mounting sensors, and capable of positioning a structure, such as a pipe or a valve, while performing adjustment of its movement distance ranging from coarse to fine adjustment by using information obtainable by physical measurement. SOLUTION: Three-dimensional sensors are installed on the abutting side end parts of an existing pipe and of a new pipe, respectively, to measure the angles of the existing pipe and of the new pipe and the actual distance between the existing pipe and the new pipe. A control means finds the amount of movement and the angle of rotation of the new pipe relative to the existing pipe based on their angles and the actual distance between them detected by the sensors. By using the found amount of movement and the angle of rotation, the control part commands chain blocks to move the new pipe relative to the existing pipe.
