SUBSTANCE: drive is specifically intended to prevent stalling and surging of compressors and pumps and includes pneumatic distributor, motor in the form of jet-type turbine, mechanical reduction gear with sliding nut, lead screw linked to output spindle, transmitter of position of spindle. Pneumatic distributor comes in the form of jet tube put on axis of electromechanical converter. Drive is fitted with autonomous source of emergency supply of gas into motor whose inlet is connected to main gas line and whose outlet is one of inlets of motor working through normally closed pneumatic valve. Normally closed pneumatic valve is provided with gear for opening of pneumatic valve in case of complete fall of pressure in main gas line, for instance, if gas line is broken or because of other troubles. Technical result of invention lies in avoidance of usage of return springs for spindle coupled to adjusting valve which reduces energy consumption, simplifies design and reduces mass of drive and increases its speed of action.
